Show time with Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea is all ready to be part of my Fall knitting wardrobe for this year. Just need some cooler temperature as I still feel so warm to wear anything that has long sleeves.

I woke up earlier this morning around 6:15 A.M. to make sure the boys wouldn't miss their track meeting at 7 A.M. Had to drop the boys at school in two trips because the elder one still wanted to catch some sleep. Rushed back and got DH ready for my pictures session. Sounds a lot work to prepare breakfast in four sessions, doesn't it? I normally have mine after all the guys leave for their day. The reason is that I like to start my day in a tranquil way ;)

The clouds covered my sun this morning not allowing me to have nice photos. Well, at least it was cool enough for me to wear Sweet Pea outdoors.
In my opinion, this is a nice and clever design. The main point is on the balance of the small lace works, so well distributed. I like most how the designer implemented the lace motive on the sides of the armholes ( arch?). In addition to that, the half lace in the V neckband is so adequate. Oh, not forgetting to mention my all time favorite bell shaped sleeves. The flared effect on the bottom of the sleeves were created by the cleverly incorporated yos stitches.

Needles: Japanese 7 (4.2mm)

I didn't have much difficulty with this pattern. I could just follow the pattern size and that allowed me to have a mindless knit in overall. I was thinking that I could have knitted a bit longer. Also I wish that the sleeves were not so tight from the elbow down part. I originally had in mind to knit with some lighter yarn that would perhaps make the sleeves more draping.
It would even look nicer if I could use a thinner yarn. That would mean recalculations on the pattern. :( If I wasn't so lazy...things would be more perfect.
