Jasmine top
This is not a complex lace pattern; however, it requires some attention to the chart. I finally got to make an enlarged pattern copy and it does good for your eyes!
I soon had to give a break on this wip because the temperatures dropped a lot past week and my mood for cotton soon swept away. It's funny how I can change my mood for knitting.
Actually the progress was slow and that meant I wasn't feeling happy in my corner. I was in need to find a quick, no brain type of work. With that in my mind, I found a perfect project. A stole kit I had bought in Hokkaido. Using mohair yarn and this sort of novelty metallic thread combined together. It progressed so fast, look at this,
ruby & topaz stole in progress
I started this past Friday evening and this photo was taken on Monday. Just the perfect project to give me a knitting boost. It's all done by now but not photos of the FO yet.
And that's all for this week! Happy knitting, my friends!

Oh, I miss your lace projects! The stole looks interesting too, I love how they wrap the yarn like big sushi!
Woo! I think that lacy top is going to be a gorgeous one! It looks really good already.
Oh, wow...that lace top looks gorgeous...I can't wait to see how it turns out.
The lace looks beautiful already... I am also more in a cotton lace kind of mood as the weather warms up. Somehow wool just doesn't seem that attractive any more when it's more than 70 degrees outside. ;P
The lace is a pretty one, you knit lace so quickly :)
The stole is very interesting. Can't wait to see how it is worn. It looks like part of it is a tube? The colors are lovely and the metallic thread gives it subtle little dots. It looks lovelier when I clicked on the photo and got a better view!
I love the colors in your stole! And your lace is lovely. You knit so fast, I wish I could knit that fast! But whenever I try to go faster I seem to make mistakes especially in my lace ;)
Wow - that sweater it beautiful! Intriguing, I can't wait to see the finished product, I bet it will be gorgeous :)
Different projects for different moods! I like the stole, it is looking very good. I myself can't seem to pick up my moods to do anything these days...
Your lacy top is going to be so beautiful! What a gorgeous, fragile pattern this is, and the colour you chose seems to be the perfect one for it! The stole is also looking good already - you're doing such great work indeed!
What a lovely lace top, is it from a japanese book?
I do need to order a few books from Japan, they seem to have so completed patterns, all details are thought throu.
I always love the lace patterns you choose. And I'm glad that even an accomplished gal like you gets in the "knitting doldrums" too
