This past Monday and Tuesday, I went to Sogo department store, where I signed up for a short class. It's valid for a month and I can get help in two projects. I took mainly Pink Beryl and my Gray Pearl for help on the crochet border. Ah, looks like multiple projects work! Though it's an exciting adventure, I find myself undecided wherever I need to choose a project to work on.
I also found my Mint Tea hidden on the bottom of my basket but not forgotten. It has been bothering me, that it only needed the mending on the shoulders, not any method but the one I didn't remember anymore. I think the name is "Kitchener Stitch". I took the opportunity to ask for help at Sogo and it was only a small mistake that was not allowing me to be successful. As usual, it seemed so easy when the teacher was working on.... At home, I had to redo at least three to four times in each shoulder. Truly, it was painful as it sounds. Even though, I was thinking of mint I couldn't feel energetic at all. But at the end, things work out and I hope when I wear my Mint Tea, it will be as refreshing as it's name! :) Here, it's Mint Tea:
Oh, one less UFO, I even feel lighter!
Next, I worked on the border of Gray Pearl. I decided to keep just a part of the design as it is already a busy pattern with all the bobbles ( model on previous post) . I will be skipping all the excess trim also because my yarn is kind thick for that. Another reason is because I don't have enough yarn.... And unfortunately, I can't find it anymore.. hehe, it always happen to me! My bolero will have to shrink it's sleeves too! I am still work on them, and trying to recalculate the measurements.
I will leave you with a picture of the progress that I 've so far.
After all, it's starting to look a lot like a bolero.......
