Look! Is she wearing a scarf?

I am so delighted that I am finally able to go back for walks in the nature. My kids don't enjoy these outing anymore ( hum, I should say they have never enjoyed). Nowadays, the difference is that their off from school time is spent with their friends and I am left alone with DH and we can go for our walking again.
A few days ago, I asked DH to take me to a local reservoir. I haven't told DH that my excitement was for the photo section. :D :D I think he will have a good guess from now on that I carry my knitting bag with all the supplies.

You have to applaud on this one because it was 31C (88F), hot and super humid! I had to pretend that I was very normal wearing my newest FO and ignore the many by passers probably saying," Look! Is she wearing a scarf? In this hot weather? "
Pardon me for the unevenness of the scarf length. I am shy and I had to put it quickly, no time for adjustments. :D
My efforts were worthwhile, look how nice this photo bellow turned out.

Pattern: Scatter Rose Quartz - My own (? took from a stitch pattern book)
yarn: Kid merino wool ( Italy)- 3 balls
needles: Japanese size 5 - 3.6mm and crochet size 5 for the bobbles
With the sweat session, I was rewarded with a refreshing rest along with fresh grapefruit juice and some homemade cookies at the tea house just by the lake. Sorry forgot the take a picture of the area, as I had one more shot to take:

This is the back of my newest WIP. Will leave some suspense for the design but if you have the newest Rich More you can search for the pattern!

It was a great afternoon and I relaxed well( after the photos) flipping through a fashion magazine and we were just sent home by the late afternoon rain!

All of your new WIPs look great. I'm sure they'll be gorgeous FOs later. I like the scraf, the colour is nice too.

I love your new scarf! You are such a talented designer. That rose color is gorgeous and the pattern you created is wonderful. You're so dedicated to wear it in that heat for a photo shoot! It was well worth it, though- your photos are gorgeous! I love the lacy WIP, too- can't wait to see the completed FO! So glad that you and DH were able to enjoy some time together... take care, Mimi! :-)

The scarf is very pretty and the bobbles add a touch of whimsy. What fun to plan your photos around your walks. The reservoir reminds me of MacRitchie Reservoir here, it sounds like you had a good afternoon with exercise and teatime too. I wonder what the front of your new project looks like, will have to look at richmore.

I really like the nature shots. The closest I have come to that is taking the shot of the baby blanket on the grass in my back yard. You are so creative, truly a fiber artist. The scarf is beautiful. Thank you for the kind comments on my blog. :-)
